Each class had a fantastic workshop with Robyn Barry about living science and biodiversity. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning all about animals, birds and fish and then examining different insects, sea creatures and butterflies.

Robyn showed us posters and pictures of a variety of animals and then had a great powerpoint presentation to follow.

We learned all about a leatherback sea turtle who died and when opened they found 14 plastic bags inside of him.He then talked about the importance of not throwing any rubbish around and how this can harm our animals, fish and birds. Robyn also told us about the food chain and how rat poison can kill not just rats but owls and foxes aswell. The children got to examine lots of creatures and sea life and all classes, children and staff thoroughly enjoyed Robyn’s visit!
